Well it sounds like an easy problem to fix. Get her a really quiet vacuum(a Miele or Bosch would do the trick) and she can go right around you and she won't even interupt your TV watching. One piece of advise. If ( and this is a big IF) she actually vacuums around you- lift your feet up without being asked and don't make her give you the "look". If you have to be asked - you might as well pull out the couch and sleep with the TV for the night!
