Something So Easy!

So I found a Lenox vase that my grandmother gave me years ago. It had some kind of strange film inside and I thought I'd just throw it into the dishwasher and clean it.

After the first time through the dishwasher, it came out just as dirty so I put it through a second time.

As you can see - still dirty.

So I thought I'd try something for fun. I poured Heinz distilled white vinegar in the vase and let it sit all day.
Look how wonderfully it came out!
Something so simple and easy - how wonderful!

  4. Such a good demonstration of the cleaning power of white vinegar. I learned about white vinegar from my green cleaning service. I have been using vinegar and baking soda for a number of tough cleaning jobs around my home. I have been very pleased with the results. It cleans well, it's extremely cheap and non-toxic. What more could I want!.
